Our Sunday School caters for children from birth until the youngsters move to senior school. We have a range of toys for the tinies who are supervised by their parents. Once children reach the age of 3 they move into the Sunday School itself. There are three classes:
- Candles (3-5s)
- Lamps (6-10s)

Torches (11+)
Each group follows the same Bible story with a range of activities and crafts depending on the child’s age and ability.
At each of the major festivals, the Sunday School will do something special, for example the much-loved Christmas Nativity Play that is performed in church in front of the entire congregation.
The Sunday School is run by an enthusiastic team of volunteers under the leadership of Marion Young, Jean Tumbridge Matt Gorman, Rupert Needham and Gavin & May Hodgett, and meets each Sunday from 10am in the Church before moving shortly into the church halls, except during August. We join the main service for the children to receive a Blessing or Communion as appropriate at approximately 10.45am. We welcome new members – just come along and join in the fun! |
