St Peters Quiz Nights

St Peters have been holding regular quiz nights for about six years now.  We follow a pretty standard format with tables of up to eight people facing ten rounds of ten questions, all on different subjects and obviously varying degrees of difficulty (well they say there are no easy and no difficult questions, merely those you know and those you don’t!).  Half way through the evening we break for food, normally fish and chips but at our last quiz we were slightly more adventurous and produced American hot dogs and coleslaw which was generally enjoyed by all.  Who knows what we will cook up for next time!  The entrance fee covers the cost of the food and a bit more besides and as this is after all a fund raising event, we usually fit in a raffle and maybe an additional little game (absolutely no pressure on anyone to buy tickets or take part!).

The main aim of the evening is to have fun (and for some, prove their prowess in the memory department) whilst raising a modest amount to put towards church expenses.  All are welcome, not just congregation members but anyone who fancies an evening out.  Dates for our quizzes, once decided, are included on the Church calendar of events.
