The tour will take in 5 gardens, all owned by congregation members, following a route through the parish. Each garden will contain features of interest to adults and children alike. Soft drinks and refreshments will be available for purchase in the first 4, with a BBQ laid on in the final garden. The route is walkable, but parking is unlikely to be a problem in most cases.
A ticket for the tour and BBQ will cost £5 for adults, £2.50 for children aged 12 or over, and nothing for younger children. Youth club members’ tickets will be paid for out of Youth Club funds. Drinks, including wine, and strawberries and ice-cream / cream will be available for purchase in the final garden. You may prefer to bring your own drinks. There will also be a table quiz and raffle with prizes. All profits will go towards church funds.
To buy tickets, ring me or see me in church on a preceding Sunday. Your tickets will comprise a sealed envelope with the first address. As you leave each garden, you will receive the next address. If you are only able to visit the BBQ garden, you can have a sealed envelope with that address. (Please try to resist opening either envelope until you get home from church on 11th July.)
This has been a popular event in each year it has been held, and has been blessed with good weather. We look forward to you joining us.
